MaKayla Brezina hit a three to give NV a 14-8 lead at the end of one quarter and the Lady Raiders never gave up the lead on the road. Brezina went on to score a season high 28 for the 9-5 Raiders. Sabetha struggled making just one trey and only 9 of 26 from the line falling to 11-3 and 6-2 in the league.
Sabetha 47- Nemaha Valley 43 Boys
Sabetha played a great 3-2 zone defense for the first three quarters and took advantage of an aggressive and attacking offense to convert of 17 of 20 free throws in the win. The Bluejay boys are 11-3 and pulled even with the Raiders at 6-2 in the league. Creighton Brinker led NV with 15 points and Alex Hermesch added 13 in the loss.
