The Horton girls got off to a 10-0 start and a 17-4 first quarter led proved to be the difference in the game. Charger freshman Sarah Coversup came off the bench and made a huge impact, especially on the offensive end with 9 points in just 2 quarters of varsity action. Ashley Dison led Horton with 14 points in the 61-43 win.

The Horton boys trailed 36-20 midway through the third quarter when Curtis Doxtator kissed a three-point basket in off the glass and ignited a 23-0 run. Doxtator hit four treys in the period and scored 14 points for the Chargers next to Josh Merz who delivered 20. Horton scored 30 of the games final 33 points in route to a 50-39 victory, their second in a row.
