Eight area high school grapplers are in the latest Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association top six rankings. Hiawatha and Sabetha each have a pair of wrestlers state ranked as Camron Leupold is fifth at 171 pounds and John Denner is fifth at 285 in Class 4A. Ethan Mumaw of Jeff West has climbed to a number two ranking at 171 pounds while Steven Skaggs of the Tigers dropped out of the rankings this week.
In Class 3-2-1A, Brock Boldra is ffith at 215 pounds for Sabetha and Will Eisenbise is sixth at 171. Brett Dunlap of Doniphan West is the number one ranked wrestler at 189 pounds while Isaac Cairo of Horton is fifth at 103 and Sklar Geopfert from Marysville is ranked second at 112 pounds.
