Despite the hot temperature's July Jubilee in Holton was a great success as it featured the music of Tyler Alhgren band, Randel Stueve band and Joey and Rory who headlined the show.
Events got underway with boating, swimming and disc golf at the Banner Creek Reservoir as the crowd awaited the musical performances, which started up later in the evening. The Tyler Ahlgren and Randel Stueve bands got things underway with the music before the internationally known headliner's Joey and Rory hit the stage. Rory grew up in Atchison and Highland and he said the concert was sort of like a homecoming for him.
People also had the opportunity to visit the new and expanding Banner Creek Science Center. After all the festivities came to a close around 10pm a huge fireworks display was showcased.
